WEAVE HELP - Splitting thr weft/track

Can someone give me advice on how to do this in order to make the track thinner and lay flatter. I bought some hair (sensationnel brand) today to put a weave in the next few weeks and bought a DVD by that hair stylist Ashante, and the thinner weft is undetectable, i don't want the bulk look at all.

Can somebody give me some pointers on how to do this, looking at the weft I have no idea where to start.

I would use a straight razor. You will see a thread joining the two wefts. They are kind of staggered with a little space in the middle with one on top of the other. Use the razor to lightly score the thread in between the two wefts. HTH.

It's very easy to do and even easier if you have someone hold one end(kinda firm) and you get the other end.
