Wearing Shoulder length or longer, hair down.

Ladies usually when I decide to wear my hair down. I always take the curlers and straighten it and create the same style. Left side part and the right side of my hair either hanging or behind my ear. So I was wondering how do you ladies wear your hair when it's down? I need some ideas. I can't wear a center part but other than that I am pretty open to all suggestions.

Hi!

I do either a middle or off centre parting. I'm about to have my bangs properly put back in next Friday as I want to be able to get out of the mid-part hair hanging down boringly each side of the face thing and get more of a shape/style. I love longer hair but find down styles a bit limiting.

kking7777,

I wear my hair the same as you when I wear it down.

Thanks Brownrelaxed and Allandra!

Allandra I think you have waist length hair right? So I am sure your hair looks nice with the side part and then hanging down...

Yes. However, it's much easier (less in the way) when I place it behind my ear (both sides).

Yea, zigzag parts are really cool. I think I've done that three times or so.

Do you ever not straighten your hair after you've done a roller set? Like just use a pick and let the curl surrond you.

Have you ever just thought about wearing your hair straight back? That's my usual 'cause I am not a big part fan.

Why not try taking a section of your hair on either side and clipping it back and let the rest hang loose? I like that a lot for control and style.

Same thing with a simple, single braid with your hair loose.

I do all of the above..I sometimes wear a headband and it aloose behind the headband..The plastic ones..It doesn't break off my edges as I moisturize them a lot everyday anyway.

I also wear it half up and half down..

How about trying rollers the night before to have curls. This looks nice parted, behind a headband, half up half down etc.

You could put the top 1/2 of your hair up in a bun, or a french roll and have the rest of your hair hanging down. I've noticed that some people can do really nice things with braids also---like having the front braided, with the ends loose. I saw a lady who had some weave done like this today, and it looked so nice.
