Idk v, my hair does better in warm, almost hot water. Cold or cool water is a no no for me.

There's a discussion that just started yesterday on this topic. :look:

I use warm water for my entire wash. The only thing cold water does is not rinse off conditioner properly so that you still have some left in hair. Many people can attest to the fact that leaving conditioner on your hair is good for their hair and protects it. Some people use conditioner that you're supposed to wash off as a leave in. So that's the only thing cold water does: not wash off conditioner fully. But that could also explain why folks find they need to clarify down the road. Or why they have itches due to conditioner residue left on their scalp.

I use warm water to rinse my hair off because I believe even with that, conditioners do leave behind some coating, and warm water leaves my scalp feeling squeaky clean. Also cold water would give me a migraine.
