I forgot to add Elasta QP Mango Butter. It made my hair frizzy and eventually dried it out.

Nexxus Y Serum (don't know how to use it and can't find anyone who has)

Infusium 23 leave-in (caused my hair to shed right away)

Aveda Universal Styling Creme (dried my hair out horribly after the first use. Was actually not a waste, the Aveda lady took it back)

The motions products did nothing for my hair, I will not invest in their products in the future.

Ohh No! I wouldn't have any hair if not for Motions.

I haven't invested in majority of these products anyway, so I guess that's a good thing. I'll just work with what I'm using now, which seems to be working for me.

The scary thing is that you could do another post about people's favorite products and you'd see many (if not all) of the same products listed here. You really just have to pick some and see which ones work for you. What I do is look to see what people have hair similar to mine and that helps a lot, too.

You're absolutely right about this Hairlove. If Tracy and Beana3 reccs something, 9 times outta 10 my hair will like it. And also I've noticed that at one point in time my hair didn't respond well to certain things and now it's responding to them a lot better. I think it's becuase my hair is in a lot healthier state. It's all trial and error. I take my chances. And if it hadn't been for my Pjism and bandwagoning, I never would have found my beloved staples

I have used Nexxus products for a year now and i have had outstanding results. My hair is so much better because of it.

I can say that I do love Joico and Paul Mitchell products. There are others that I use also, but not a variety of them like I do with Joico and Paul Mitchell.

It's liquid and it does nothing for light brown hair. Well yeah, that's a given

but I put it on my black roots and it did nothing spectacular either. There are gels that work much better in my opinion, like Elasta Glaze, even Let's Jam. Garnier has a gel out for this same purpose, but I've only used it once, but that wasn't for slicking. I'll probably be using it next week, so I'll tell you about that one.

D&L OIL MOISTURIZER W PINK OIL..BLAHH!

I have used Keracare for years, since I was a salon regular. I have used, everything in the line and never had a problem. I have used Nexxus Emergencee, recently,(bad color fiasco)and have had wonderful results. It was suggested from a post here. So I to, agree with the many that, says it trial and error!

Dudley's PCA- I want my $12 dollars back. This is the first product I threw away in the garbage. I usually give products that don't work for me to someone else. I hated this product so much, I wanted it out of sight!!!

Surge- Did nothing

[/ QUOTE ]

I have Surge also. I used it and I didn't think it was doing anything either, but one day I let someone else spray my scalp with it and while it was drying (my hair close to my scalp was wet) I saw all this new growth waving up and I was like where did this come from. The only thing with that is I don't know if it was the Surge (it promises results within 14 days and I was close to my 14 day mark) or the vitamins I was taking. All I know is I had alot of new growth.

I've only really just started, but:

Wave nouveau moisturizing lotion, yuck! It's just way too slimy for me! Everything else seems good so far!
