Washing Your Hair Before Going To The Salon....

I have a quick question, in your experience, has your hair stylist ever deducted the cost of the service if you washed your hair yourself?

I shampoo and DC and come in with the DC still in my hair with the dominicans. Same price.

Nope. They should, though. We're making their lives a tad bit easier by doing all of that before hand...

No, my stylist doesn't give me a price cut either. She should because I am making it easier for her and I am not using any of the salons products .

no, the cost of the shampoo and conditioner used to wash your hair is built into the price. The cost of products is built into the price of a service.

Nope. They should, though. We're making their lives a tad bit easier by doing all of that before hand...

The only problem is coming up with a price to deduct. . that is the not so fun part.

Yep, when I use to go, she would only charge the price for the flat iron.

When I used to go to the salon, most of the time I washed my hair the night before. Price was always the same. I didn't mind though because I wasn't doing it to save money, I did it because I wanted to use my own products and have my hair handled a certain way.

Same here. People do not know how to detangle right .. or make sure the DC gets everywhere

Oh heck yeah! My hair gets tore up when I go to the Dominican Salon. Next time I walk in, my hair will be ready to rollerset. I don't care about the charge. I just want to save myself from the massacre that usually occurs.
