What were your results and would you do it again?

How did you do it (steps)?

How are the results different from just a plain wng?

I get the idea but I'm not fully grasping this concept. It seems like it would make the hair frizzy. Also, does anyone have any pics? TIA

I tried it when I was relaxed and washing and going. Regular scrunching worked better for me. I kind of just leaned my head to the side and took my open hand and pushed my hair up towards my scalp and then let it fall. I did a few times until I saw waves. If I closed my hand it would make it get frizzy. I don't have to do anything to get it to curl now that I'm natural though. Once the water hits it, it's curl city.

It looks interesting but I've perfected my wash and go routine so I'm now about to try anything else unless something goes wrong with this one lol I just switch up products to see what gives me the best curl definition but I would also like to hear if someone had success with this just incase:)

I hear you cuz I've perfected mine as well...thank God! I was just wondering if the results were a different type of curl which would be cool if I wanted a change of style once in a while.

Instead of making the hair more curly like the instructions say it seems like I can remember reading that it made a looser, chunky curl with less shrinkage.....but I can't remember where I read that.

Plopping directions.....

It sounds like some new exercise trend. 'Plopping' refers to a method of helping to create curl structure prior to diffusing or air drying that has become a favorite among NaturallyCurly.com members.

As described by a member, after one washes and conditions the hair, you apply product to wet hair and get ready to 'plop.' Put a t-shirt or aquis towel down on a chair - some use the toilet with seat down. Leaning over the towel/t-shirt with your head hanging down bent over from your waist, position the wet hair onto towel so the curls are all concentrated on top of the head. Then pull the towel taut against the top and sides of the head, grabbing the 2 sides and twisting them into long sausage rolls near each ear. Take these rolled up towel extensions and pull them to the nape of the neck and secure them by tying them together.

Says one reader, 'Then I put go about my morning routine — makeup, coffee, etc. The towel helps to absorb excess water while letting the curls 'set' into clumps. When you take the towel off, gently shake down the curls and diffuse 's' shaped, individual curly locks, with some volume at the roots.

If you want extra control, another member suggests spritzing on on some spray gel or scrunch in a bit more gel after you take the towel off.

I gave the receptionist at my job to go buy the noodle head she loves my wash and go but her hair is like 2c 3c and the sebastian works best on my 4a hair so I remembered using it in the past and it was good and all the reviews here she bought it and loves it I have to run from her when I see her that's all she wants to talk about lol, but I'm in a challenge so no wash and go for me so she only teliing me wear it tomorrow with me I think I've created a monster lol, but her wash and go does look great

That Noodlehead is the bomb ain't it:D .

That it is! I revisted mines last night for a wash and go and it worked good. I hadn't tried it since I first BCED. If you use too much does it get crunchy though? Some of my hair around the edges was a little crunchy. :ohwell:

Yeah it can get a little "firm" if you use too much. I prefer a firmer wng because I need the curls to last at least 3 days so I like a product that will really set the style and the noodlehead really does that.
