I tried a Wash & Go using Curl Prep Sweet Buttah after seeing a stylist do a demonstration of the product at the Let Your Hair Down Hair Expo in Brooklyn yesterday. I followed the instructions as shown during the demonstration and I raked the product through soaking wet hair.

I filmed it: http://youtu.be/EMWwuqs4xm0

The funny thing is I've had a 1/2 ounce sample of Sweet Buttah for about 18 months since it was part of the swag bag for the first natural hair show I attended. I was a hair model for Sabine's Hallway with a cute bantu knot mohawk. For some reason I didn't use the full sample of Sweet Buttah although I know I used it since I found one of my curly shed hairs inside the jar. I think I tried it on one two strand twist and I was trying out so many new products at the time that I never went back to it.

So far I really like it. I'm hoping to get 5 day hair out of this style.

ETA: I got 5 day hair out of the Curl Prep. Photos and video of my hair over the 5 days are here: http://youtu.be/1U0Ijh_Iamc

My hair is still soft and has shine.

Nice hair. Nice video. Glad you got around to posting a review. Never heard of this product. Will try it out in the future.

Not to be forward, but your voice is so soothing and comforting.

naturalmanenyc - that's amazing! Love your perfect tiny spirals! Looks really soft and shiny even after five days! How does this product smell?

naturalmanenyc - Looks very soft and touchable! I bet people want to pull on your curls and then they get shocked at the power of shrinkage!

Good question. I have done the float test and think my hair is medium porosity. I don't have any problems with my hair feeling wet and my hair loves protein.
