Wash Day Again.

Okay, I did a roots only dry shampoo with Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo (refer to Mon 6/23/03 Journal Entry on how that's done). I then rinsed my hair with warm water in the shower and slapped on some Motions CPR. I found out something profound on my last wash, my hair does not like to be combed when wet, so I did not comb the conditioner through like I normally do. I then let that sit for an hour with my plastic cap.

After that I got back in the shower rinsed the CPR out and added my new fave conditioner At One With Nature's Botanical Reconstructor Conditioner with Moisture Recovery which I left on my hair with the plastic cap while I actually showered and then rinsed that out after about 5 minutes. This stuff is the best!!! It's better than Keracare Humecto in my opinion and it costs less, thanx Mochalolita for giving me this!!!

I then wrung out my hair and mixed a quarter size amt of Aloe Vera Gel with my Elucence MB Conditioner to my damp hair. My hair is now air drying.

Luckily last Thursday my mom french braided my hair, but today when my hair is dry I'm going to attempt to french braid or flat twist it myself with guidance from http://motowngrl.8m.net/flattwists.htm and http://motowngrl.8m.net/french_braid.htm

I'll tell you how everything turns out later.

I don't like combing my hair when wet either. Do you comb after you've done your final rinse and everything? If not, does it dry tangled? Thanks

Okay I tried to do the two strand twistrows and my fiance said I looked like Sonic the Hedgehog

I had four of them and I could not do them tight to save my life!

Supergirl, I don't comb until it's 95% dry and my hair doesn't dry tangled maybe because of the At One because it gives good slip. Then when I comb it's pretty much smooth sailing!

Kenesha,

I am going to put my shampoo in one of those little bottles too. I think that's a great way to get the scalp real good. Thanks for the tip girly.

Howdy Kenesha,
Glad that you love the At One! I was surprised at the quality of slip it gives, considering the low price. I think it's a definite keeper!

Hugs,
Crys
