Hi Ladies,

I just tried something just now. I just washed my ends over the sink - shampoo'd (SFL free), conditioner and then applied my leave-ins and oils. Why you may ask?

Well today is Sunday and Thursday coming I am going to get a relaxer -12 weeks post and :nono: to hair washing til then. So what happen, last night I didn't tie down my hair properly and one side of my hair near the front was dry. So I added leave-in conditioner and sealed to try and correct it. I went about my business and hours later my ends still doesn't feel right.

I wanted to wash my hair so the next best thing was wetting it, if I was going to wet it why not do a mini wash.

Have you done this too and if so how frequently? Uhm I love smelling my ends right now.

Nice picker upper for oneself and fast to dry.

i've done it if i workout too close to a relaxer. i rinse my scalp with water only and then light shampoo one lather only on ends and then co wash.

i find as long as i don't manipulate my scalp or use a comb my scalp and hair are fine.

i have never tried this. Glad it's working for you though.

Yes it made my ends so nice, moist and soft and the lower part of my hair feels light and soft. I am happy I discovered this. It should help to keep my ends healthy.

Aye, I was thinking maybe I can spray my roots with water if it feels dry. So many possibilities to make the hair nice and moist, when it comes down to it, the hair really thrives on water and to keep our ends moist why not moisten it with a mini wash.

I am going to do a mini wash whenever my ends need it and I not able to do a full wash.

Oh yes I do this all the time! I put my hair in two pony tails and co-wash the ends while being careful not wet my scalp. I do this when the ends are feeling dry and when I plan on relaxing soon. It helps my hair stay tangle free and softer during the relaxer process.
