on the SplitEnder. I used it the last weekend in December and plan on using it once a month. It cut off 1/8" and after I was finished, I could see a difference in my hair. But I am not reporting on the appearance of my hair (where pictures are sometimes required), what I want to report is, when I dry fingercombed my hair (using oil only) at the end of that week before washing my hair, my fingers glided through my hair and my shedding was cut in half. I usually just cut my hair ends, but this unit trims the entire hair strand. I did not blow dry my hair before, nor did I flat iron and I am 12 weeks post. I just washed and conditioned the night before and made sure that my hair was completely tangle free. I didn't want damage and pulling so I just took my time taking very very small sections and it took me 35 minutes to complete. I am sooo happy that I kept this unit that was just collecting dust. Just wanted to share.

I need to revisit mine, I haven't used it for years, I just bought some scissors for dusting my ends, I will try and work out a way to incorporate both of these in my regimen.

interesting, where did you buy it and how much was it?
If you remember I know I always forget things like that LOL

I had this unit for over 5 years and it is still working. I started using it when I was natural and it was very hard because I didn't always want to blowdry or flat iron my hair. It has just been collecting dust. I am now relaxed and want to start doing regular trims and pulled out this unit and it worked beautifully. I ordered it from this website http://www.splitender.com/

oh wow! so cool I've never heard of this! so even though you didn't use it as often when you were natural would you say it worked well when you straightened? fancypants007
