Ladies. I've seen this product mentioned here before, so I tried it last night. I'm here to say it is probably the BEST treatment I've ever tried. It almost replaces all other DC products I've tried. It gives ORS Replenishing Pak a true run for the money and in my opinion wins. I'd call it a light protein with very strong moisturizing properties. It left my hair sooo soft, shiny and light with lots of LONGLASTING moisture. It's remained smooth and detangled despite my fingers running through it all day long. It seemed to make my sealing oil "take" much better; the oil reflected much more off my hair.
Now that my hair is in good condition...(no more broken areas, completely texlaxed and recently dusted) I no longer use my strong protein or my reconstructors weekly. I use them on an "as needed" basis, as rescue products. UBH Deep Conditioner will always be my rescue conditioner or when I know I will use heat. It's a judgement call...I go by how my hair feels. But the Silk Elements is a REAL keeper. And the smell! OMG. You'd like to eat it or wish you could keep it on as perfume.
I really don't see any hair type that wouldn't benefit from this treatment...and at $9.99 at Sally's I feel its a real bargain.
Hope this helps someone else.
Sorry I don't have pictures to go along with this post, but I'm saving my hair for a big reveal on Valentine's Day.
