Wailing wall/ vision board/ prayer wall

Iwanthealthyhair67

The wailing walls I've seen are bulletin boards that are hung and usually decorated on a wall in the person's house. They have note cards or pieces of paper with people's prayer requests on them as well as things they are praying for for themselves. They add and remove from the board as needed.

The Vision Board is from the LOA (Laws of Attraction) which is witchcraft. It is not of God. It is one who uses their 'self-will' to obtain what they desire in life, as opposed to surrendering their hearts unto the Lord and asking Him in prayer.

It is a method that is used by the new age movement which is a counterfeit and deception.

If one has a relationship with the Lord, there's no need for to consult the practices of those who have eliminated God from their personal life.

There are those who originated the LOA and the vision board manisfestions, who also say that they were Christians and the bizarre events that have occurred in their lives.

They were so sure that they could 'control' and manifest and create what they wanted in their lives by participating in this and yet the enemy came in and launched attacks in their lives which were so obscure.... yet all they had to do was leave it alone and grow closer to God instead.

If you play in the devil's camp, he will indeed launch his attack upon you.

Let God be your God. Leave the witchcraft alone.

Here's a thread on it... get some  and a cup of warm tea :coffee:. It's a good read :bookworm:

What about prayer boxes... I am sooo confused now...

I have a goal board (dream board) with steps I need to take to complete those goals. (With the Lord's help).

 Hi AnjeLuv...

Yes, God indeed says, 'Ask and ye shall receive." He also says that we receive 'not' because we ask 'amiss'.

Who are we asking? God in faith believing or a vision board (which is amiss)? A vision board is 'missing God', bypassing Him and placing faith in an inanimate object. This vision board practice is too deceptive. God says that if we delight ourselves in Him the HE will give us the desires of our heart.

A prayer box, in my understanding is where prayer requests are placed and when prayer groups are gathered together, they lift the prayers of people unto the Lord.

As for the results of 'Are vision boards demonic', thread God has the final say in His Word...it's not of Him. :nono:

Babygirl, don't be confused. How can any of us go wrong placing our trust in God and not a vision board? We can't for God never fails.

This is more of what I was referencing only on a board versus in a box. I was NOT talking about pictures of cars and fine men collage style. :nono:

I'm thinking about my grandparents.

When they prayed they got results. They didn't have vision boards to remind thiem of scriptures or prayers, yet they knew the Bible forward and back and remembered who / what they prayed for and why and God not only heard, but answered.

What is it about 'our' lives today where we have the need to be reminded of God's Word? How are we not retaining what God says? What's missing or should I ask, what needs to be missing? 'We' know the words to popular songs and commercials more than scripture. From the abundance (what overflows) of the heart, the mind thinks and the mouth speaks.

We may be in the world but we're not of it. The world uses vision boards for they are withoiut God. If a Christian starts a vision board innocently, what's not to lead them to temptation to add it, what the enemy slips in.

I don't have the answer to what an individual will / will not do. I can only ask, why risk it?
