There is a thread about this lady and her techniques - I believe it is entitled We can all learn something from this wonderful lady but search won't let me find it. I think she is a member here now - if I remember her name I will come back and post it for you.

Edited to add - I see Samanthajones found the thread I was thinking of!

I think her methods are good but wash and go's take time to tweak and master. Was your friend's daughter's hair dry when she laid down? Perhaps she needs to experiment and try again.

There was a giant thread on it...and I did try some of her methods...I think it might work on 3b/3c hair but it made a giant mess of my 3c/4a/4b hair.
