Which is better? Can they both be used in the same ways? Do they make good hair massage oils? That's my last question this week :lachen:

Don't worry ask as many questions as you need. Anyway in my opinion Vatika is better. it is cocnut oil that has great extracts of lemon which is a natural scalp cleanser, amla is wonderful hair root strengthener and for some it helps to darken the hair, henna leaves doesn't give color to your hair at all it is there to give strenghth to the strands of your hair. So try the Vatika oil.

Lakshmi S...thank you so much. That helped me understand Vatika a lil bit better. Hmm...does sound like a good oil. Just might be what I need.

I like them both, but I get better results with Vatika. Try them both and see which one you prefer. Vatika has a smell to it that some people don't like. But it has good associations for me. My hair does well if I use it regularly. Unfortunately, I sometimes get lazy about going to the stores where I can buy it.

I use both oils but I really like the smell of the Parachute Coconut oil and it leaves my hair really soft. I say you should buy both and try them out. The prices are very reasonable. At my local Indian Grocery Store I can get a small bottle of each for under $5. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I've seen both on the shelf at the local indian store but I have only tried vatika. It's just the way another poster described it: Vatika is coconut PLUS a lot extra good stuff (herbs) and parchute brand is pure coconut. I love my vatika though!!

I use both: Vatika for overnight treatment before washing and pure coconut oil mixed with castor oil and ylang ylang daily or every other day.

Cichelle, Jetblackhair, Blackbarbie and Miss*Tress thanx ladies for your replies. I see the love is sorta equal for both oils. Seeing as how they don't cost that much I may have to just try them both as suggested and see which one I like the most. The Vatika sounds nice though. But smell plays a big part for me because some things will give me a headache for days :nono:.

Again thanx for the answers ladies
