using wigs to help grow your hair long

I have gotten decent growth with using half wigs to grow my hair. Before I cut my hair it was well on its way to BSL using this method. :yep: My regimen is very simply. I wash/DC once a week, cornrow the back, and only use heat once a week on my leaveout. I spray my braids twice daily with braid spray and make sure to moisturize and seal my leaveout once a day.

I'm growing my hair out nicely under the lace. I love the fact that I can workout in the mornings an go also. It's a time saver for me really.

Wigs kept me sane, and helped me while I was bald from postpartum shedding, and my hair did grow back while I was using them....but I hated them. I hated being bald, and I missed MY hair. Plus one windy day, one of them almost flew off my head. Once I got to the TWA state and looked better, my Hubby threw em all out. I don't think he was a fan either.

OMG

I would just DIE. I'm wigging it for the rest of the year and up to next summer. This is my bigget fear. :nono:

I've worn wigs for a while and have never felt nervous about them coming off. :nono: I only use the front comb in a wig (I remove all back combs to prevent further nape breakage) and secure with two bobby pins behind each ear and would feel safe riding a rollercoaster with it on.

This fall and winter will be a big test for me. I will be bobby pinning those suckers down. :yep:
