I'm really excited! What are your tips ladies? Especially those who have experience with the particular Nupur Brand? I was going to mix it with some distilled warm water and some oil and let it sit as directed. Any other tips?! Thanks!

I used it as directed other then using a little Vatika oil instead of Curd oil :)

HAVE FUN!

this is my favorite henna of all time. i love that its already mixed with other herbs so i usually just mix it with water and thats all,
a few times ive mixed it with more amla, honey, and sweet almond oil. amazing each time.
in fact i just used this henna two days ago and my hair feels and looks amazing.

I love this brand too. I think water and oil is enough for the first time and if you like the results, you can move on to other ingredients. I like to add an egg, oil (olive, castor, safflower, or whatever I'm feeling that day), a little honey, and some water. Shiny and strong! :)

Ladies! I L.O.V.E this Henna!

I mixed it w/ water and my silk dreams nourish oil and let it sit for an hour while I clarified my hair. I then followed w/ SSI Avocado Condish and rinsed. I applied the henna and let it sit for 2.5 hrs. The front of my hair is actually noticeably RED! LOL. I love it. My hair felt a little rough to the touch but when I rinsed the henna it was fine. I DC'd for an hour and 15 mins after w/ Silk Dreams Vanilla Silk DC. When I rinsed my hair was SMOOTH and silky as ever. WOW! The thickness is noticeable too. I LOVE this and will do it 2x a month. I'm currently airdrying and I love the frizz free look.

I love this henna. It's the only one I will ever use!
I mix it with water and oil let it sit 2-3 hours, no acidic ingredients ( I don't want too much color release), then add conditioner right before applying. then I rinse out well in the shower, then to get the grit out I hot oil (EVOO and honey) and let it sit for 2-3 hours, then shampoo and deep condition. Talk about some strong, thick and shiny hair!
:gorgeous:

Love this henna!! I mix it with my moisturizing herbal tea (marshmallow and coltsfoot), honey and a little bit of oil. I added an egg last time as well, and liked it!

I got excited when I saw Nupur in the title lol. I looove this one! I've used it for about a year. I tried Karishma first and liked it, but the results were too red. Nupur gives my hair an auburn tint. I think I'll do a treatment this weekend :-)

I bought Napur a few months ago and did a treatment in May and another in June, but somehow fell off it. I plan on trying to henna this weekend since my hair is in a funk, and has been breaking, shedding and is overly porous and I think henna can help with all three of these? I have some in my freezer that i will thaw out and use.

question: do you ladies shampoo beforehand or only apply it to dry hair? I haven't washed my hair lately so it feels a little coated and i think i applied it to dry hair last time, but can't really remember.

Today will be my second Nupur-it stains a darker red than my usual Afshan-my mix is very warm water, eucalyptus oil, olive oil and a little apple cider vinegar allowed to brew overnight-a little apple cider added before application to my silver/brown strands for several hours. Love the compliments and the, "How did you get your hair to look like that?"
I do not shampoo before I henna. I read somewhere or other that it is good to lock the current natural oils into the hair shaft. My results are fine and it save me from getting in and out of the shower another time.
