Is this a good idea or bad idea? I don't wash everyday so I'm wondering if it is worthwhile for me to use a leave-in on dry hair . . .

I use one, NTM leave-in on my dry hair. I use it as a moisturizer, then I seal it with coconut oil. My hairs stays soft all day.:drunk:

I do the same exact thing......I use different oils to seal though, not always coconut. I like to rotate them.

Yep. I used Giovanni Direct Leave-In and seal with sweet almond oil, or avocado oil or jojoba oil.

You can also use a 'lil bit of real conditioner, not just a leave-in...a lot of girls are doing this as well.

Same here, except I use Lacio Lacio and seal with Olive oil. Talk about silky soft:yep:

I tried real conditioner as a leave-in, but it tried to hard and pasty. Maybe I used too much......:ohwell:

Hmmm . . . so could I use my Biolage Matrix daily leave-in and then seal with oil? *thinking*

I've never used biolage, but this is what I do with my daily leave-ins. It should work fine.

Yeah, I put my leave-ins on dry hair.

I recently started using Giovanni Direct daily, and I love it. I also use regular conditioners as moisturizers. My favorites are Elucence MB, Kenra MC, Phytokarite, and Humectress. A little goes a long way.

I use NTM silk touch on my dry hair everyday as my moisturizer. I seal with a couple drops of jojoba oil. :yep:

Yes, I've done this with Sunsilk (which I love), lacio lacio & ntm silk touch.

Does it cause press hair to revert? I have lots of Giovanni Leave in sitting around here as well as other conditioners.

I think its a good idea :yep:. I use Giovanni Direct leave-in as a daily moisturizer and seal with a tiny bit of Grapeseed or Jojoba oil

I don't know about regualr leave in conditioners on dry hair..but I use NTM silk touch on my dry hair becasue it said on the bottle it can be used on dry hair or wet.

I use humectress on my ends and seal w/ an oil. I wish I would have used it sooner. I love that stuff. (BTW it says you can use it on dry hair)

Thanks for your responses ladies - I really appreciate it!
