Uses For Unwanted Hair Products

Although I'm a big fan of most of my products, I do have the occasional "miss".

Usually I give unwanted products away, but I have found a few good ways to use my stash.

Shampoo:
*bubble bath
*laundry detergent
*bonnet cleaner
*comb/brush cleaner
*dish soak
*wig wash

Conditioner:
*shaving cream
*detangler
*cowash wigs

Oils:
*oil pulling
*oil cleansing method (face)
*add to lotions
*hand/nail/cuticle oil
*aromatherapy massage

Do y'all repurpose products, trash them or give them away?

I donate all my products to a shelter

ETA: (Unfortunately) A shelter frequented by black people. Nonblack women can't have my stuff.

I generally give them to my sister, BFF or cousins who are all natural now.

I keep and use everything. If it's not a great product, I use it as a base and add great things to it, conditioners mostly. I cannot bring myself to get rid of things. Thank goodness I don't buy much anymore!

I use unwanted shampoo to wash combs and brushes, conditioner to shave, and oil on my cuticles. I have some other stuff I'm waiting for a meet up to get rid of. I've been waiting a while...
