Users of Motions Relaxers....

Please share the steps you use when you use Motions Relaxers. I bought Motions Mild relaxer for my sister as well as the Neutralizing shampoo and the Motions Moisture Plus Conditioner. My sister wants me to relax her hair (yikes). I've warned her that I have absolutely no experience with perming other people's hair but she claims I can't mess it up more than it already is....

That being said, I plan to use the directions exactly as stated on the jar.....does anyone have any tips or advice to offer me?

I relax with Motions Oil plus regular. My stylist bases my scalp and edges first, applies the relaxer to new growth only, rinses thoroughly, applies the Motions Silk Protein conditioner (leaves on hair with plastic cap for 10 mins), rinses again, shampoo with neutralizing shampoo, applies a moisturizing conditioner (NOT MOTIONS) with heat for 20 mins, rinse and style.

Thanks SimplyCee.....have you tried the regular Motions relaxer? Is there a difference between that one and the Motions Oil Plus relaxer?

Also, is the silk protein conditioner the one that is recommended to be used after the Motions Oil Plus?
