@IDareT'sHair, I did buy the Rev during their BF sale although it was before BF when I purchased. So come to think of it, I was not totally accurate in my statement. But, no hair products though. Many of us OGs have product to last us for about 10 years to come. Question being, will the shelf life really last that long. I’ve tossed out some things that made me feel uneasy. I’m sure I can purge more but it hurts.
 
I used some of the leave in conditioner a few days ago and sealed my braid with the butter. It was very promising. Ive been trying to do my hair for two weeks but the holidays keep getting in the way. The leave in, was very creamy and sank in. The butter is a shea butter blend, that sealed in the leave in conditioner nicely.

I have a plan for Thursday since im off on Friday. I will be using it then fully and let yall know @divachyk
 
Hello lovely ladies. Happy New Year to everyone. I have not been doing anything to my hair from a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving Day because that was the exact day I had massive wisdom tooth pain from it lying horizontal. My first day of relief was this Friday past even though I had it removed 4 weeks ago. Sadly, I lost the blood clot the first day and ended up with a dry socket. I have never in my life had tooth issues so I did not know what to expect and I screwed up BIG TIME on how to care for it.

Anyway, with that said, I am doing a lot better and will need to be doing something to my hair very soon since my grays are screaming at me to do something about them :lol:.
 
Hey everyone! You know I usually roll through sometime in the new year. What told me I needed to come back is I didn’t own not one DC until Thursday. I’m losing it. Under the steamer now with some hemp oil. I’ve never tried any Soultanicals products so thinking of ordering from them. I plan to hit Shescentit up too. I’ll wait and see if they have any sales coming up.

Currently dc'ing with SSI Banana Brulee DC. I like the smooth application and the consistency of the product. I don't mind the smell, either. Hoping it works well with my thick kinks and coils. Will report back in the AM after cowashing and doing my oil rinse

I have maybe 3 more uses of the banana brulee before I can open up my last SSI plum nectar and agave DC. Once i finish that, my dc stash will be gone!
 
finished a sample size of Qhemet Biologics heavy cream. I plan on finishing one of my deep conditioners within the next 2 weeks. My stash is getting smaller and my savings are getting larger. I realized I spent over $1700 last year and half of that was haircare related stuff like products and salon visits for braids and silk presses. Then the other half was on amazon because I stay on amazon buying books from my favorite authors. A coworker has been telling me I should get kindle unlimited so I may try that once my no-buy is over.

in 2023, I want to save money. I can't do that if i overspend so I put myself on a strict budget and automate my savings so I don't have to stress about money.
 
Hey ladies,

I finally colored my hair last week Sunday and currently wearing it in a bun. I will be giving her a nice reconstructing treatment maybe with KeraCare 5 in 1 this coming weekend to strengthen her a bit after the demi-color. Then most likely I'll be back in my wigs as my protective style. It was good wearing my hair out for the past week.
