Another thought. If she always keeps it stretched and in twists... why not just loc it up? Less maintenance than what she's doing now.
This is exactly how I think about myself sometimes

She has great hair and it suits her.
God bless her and the long detangling sessions....I almost want to cut my hair off after an hour of wet fingercombing![]()
yeah it takes a long time for her but yall have to remember its ONCE a month she does this and then shes done. im sure it takes people close to the same amount of time if they added up all the minutes/hours it takes to do the hair a few times a week.

I cannot yawn (at all) when I see such nice people, I love their kindness and positive attitude, and I appreciate who takes the time to explain things in detail. And they are 2 rare beauties!
I have to say, this video really helps (especially that idea of detangling from the roots and soaking them with oil is new and makes sense to me, because my hair dreads near the scalp).
But if I wanted to keep twists 100% of the time, I would definitely choose locs, something like chescaleigh from youtube but smaller. My understanding is that Cipriana likes small twists and updos 100% of the time, and this idea would eliminate those 8 hours a month detangling, while achieving the same unique look.
150 twists??!!? WTF?? I am looking to have longer hair so i can make BIGGER twists and hopefully spend less time on my hair on wash day. Is that unrealistic?
Especially for someone like me that co-washes almost every day. It takes me 15 minutes (co-wash and styling time) on co-wash days and 60 minutes for weekly washes (not including the time I have the DC on my hair) for a total of 135 minutes a week. Assuming 4 weeks in a month that is 540 minutes a month. An hour longer than her 8 hours.
I still cannot envision sitting down for 8 hours at a stretch. Kudos to her.
