You have beautiful hair with just a handful of products. I'm almost there streamlining my products. I use the same products except for the Suave as we can't get that over here. Keep up the excellent work
I started using WGO earlier this year and CON has always been a staple.
As for the relaxer, I actually relax my own hair with Vitale regular strength. That's probably a no-no, but I've been doing it myslelf for about 10 years now and I have a little system that seems to work pretty good.
I buy it Sally's, along with the Vitale Positive Conditioner and Neutralizing Shampoo.
I've seen many great photos of all of you and I've gotten lots of tips that I've encorporated into my regimen. I'm just happy there are forums like this that are really beneficial to helping us all reach our personal goals!
I'll continue to share what works (and doesn't work for me) with all of you. I'll also try to update pix- if I could just get more space from Fotki
Honestly, I was trying to upload as many as I could without buying a premium package.

Huge Compliment!!! Thanks Leslie
And Honeylemondrop, I have gotten Mya a lot, which is also a huge compliment.
That is how my hair looks when air-dried. I really don't like that my hair is relaxed bone-straight, but it comes from years of relaxing every 6 weeks. After learning so much from so many members of this site, I am now stretching out my relaxers to 3 months (and hopefully to six next time) with a shorter processing time. I wish I had a little more texture when wet, but then we all want what we don't have

P.S.
My Doggy says WOOF!

I will PM the pincurl instructions in a few. I'll be doing my hair like that for dinner tonight so I'll take some step-by-step instructions and post them for everyone soon!

Hey Bree
Yup, I've been relaxing since I was a Junior in college- which was SOOOOOO many moons ago! I'm actually 34 not so U can do the math
Anyhoo, I basically got my first perm when my hair was virgin and I've been doing it myself ever since (12 years). I've only had my hair relaxed at a salon once, and that was my first one. I started out using no-lye, but thanks to Andre's book (Oprah's stylist), I switched over to Lye about 6 years ago. Additionally, I've only visited a hair styling salon 3 times my whole life (even though I treat myself to spa services often)! I won't knock beauty salons, I just have never had anyone take the time and care that I do for my own hair- especially during the detangling process. I do my own trims (with help in the back from a friend) as well. I will PM my relaxing instructions since this note is already too long
