Well, not a lot of growth this time around! I got my back layers even-out in NOV and got a trim yesterday...so this is what I was left with.

Nice and healthy and beautiful and long! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Leejure your hair is beautiful! It's so nice, shiny and uniform. I can definitely see that it has grown since the last pic. Looking good girl. Keep up the good work!! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi Lee, /images/graemlins/wave.gif

Your hair is awesome! Keep up the good work. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Your hair is beautiful! You still got some length despite evening out the layers. I need to do a chop for this final layer...but I'm still holding out. Seeing your hair all one length reminds me of why I want that layer gone. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Well Done, you achieved your first goal. It won't be long before you achieve your others. Congratulations, your hair is gorgeous. /images/graemlins/grin.gif /images/graemlins/dance7.gif /images/graemlins/bouncy.gif

Leejure, you're hair is looking beautiful. All the hard work is paying off. You got a great colour and shine going on there. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Leejur, your hair is BEAUTIFUL and it looks (being pressed) even better than a lot of relaxed people's hair that I have seen. /images/graemlins/smile.gif It is very straight, silky and it looks like it has a lot of bounce to it.

Lee!

Beautiful....

I am more struck by the growth from Feb 2001 to now...That's a nice 2 years you've had growthwise - with trims and all!

And your hair looks very healthy and vibrant. Lovely....

Lee, your hair looks so pretty! Wow! Your methods and your regime are definitely working for you! /images/graemlins/smile.gif Congrats on a great head of hair.

Leejure your hair is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love it.

It looks so damn good it almost looks fake! I mean this in a good way.

What I am trying to say is that you have very even ends and and nice healthy sheen. Your hair is perfect. I wish my ends were that even and thick.

Keep up the good work!!!

Do you ever wear your hair natural and out loose?

EVERYONE...

Thank you so much for the compliments. I really appreciate them. I had a really good hair experience this time around. I went to Adrienne's hair dresser (thanks Adrienne) and she was great. She trimmed my ends and made sure she took off only what was necessary. She even used Keracare products (how cool was that?!)

Thanks again!

Valley Girl!

Thank you, thank you..thank you!!!

I was really worried about my hair b/c I have these short layers underneath the long parts of my hair. The problem was that the top of my hair was growing longer than the bottom (hope that makes sense) so much so that it was starting to make my ends look really thin. I had a couple of inches cut off in Nov and had a trim a few days ago...I know you didn't ask, just thought I would vent! /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Anyway, The funny thing is that my hair is not all that thick (ask Adrienne she'll tell you)I think it photographs thicker than what it is. I contribute the shime to cellophanes. I didn't get one this time, and it really shows! And believe me when I say, its far from perfect. If my son hadn't just waken frm his quick nap, I would explain further /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Girl I ALWAYS wear it natural (curly out) when its not in a bun or a braid. my CO style is what I wear when I go out and can't gt a press. And it doesn't hold a flame to the "beautiful" curly style you sport!

makes perfect sense...my hair does the same thing lately. It didn't do it before when I first went natural but in the past year it started growing that way. Before it was the opposite..the top would grow slower and the underneath layers would grow faster...much faster.

I don't know what or why that happens but good to know that it is not just me. I thought I was getting more shrinkage in that back area but when I iron it out it is still shorter. Every time I trim it or cut it off to start over it still grows in the same way..so now I just deal with it b/c you can only notice when I wear it straight which is not very often. Then I just bump the ends under.

Thank you for your kind words about my curls Lee..that is very sweet of you.

Hey BTW you and Adrienne go to the same lady to get your hair done? You live in the LA/SoCal area too?

girl, we get together when our schedules and time permit. that's why we're both really wanting to do another L.A. get together. i really hope to meet more members from this and other hair boards.

leejure, i'm surprised you let danyelle cut your hair since you hadn't been to her before, but i'm glad it all worked out though. she's a really sweet girl. she does a good wash huh? very thorough. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

VG,

I decided to try Adrienne's stylist this time. No particular reason (I really like my stylist) but the opportunity presented itself, so I thought I would give her a try. And now, I have a back-up stylist just in case mine is busy or out sick or something. You know?

Yes, i am in SoCal so we definitely have to get together!

Yeah, well you know the triclk-down theory...

YOU trust her...I trust you, so I trust her too. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

It's all love baby! /images/graemlins/grin.gif
