Updated My Album :D

JuJuBoo

Child of THE King!
As yall know I've been trying to master my former stylist's "super straight, shiny and sleek" look. I've been MIA from the hair topics for MONTHS now, but I've gotten some great results lately, and when the forum went down I had all this down time so I figured, "What the hey! I'll update my album!" So below is my regimen and you'll find my album in the siggy. :)

Oh yeah...Just a note...I am Heat Queen. I can't pull away from my CHI. (I just CAN'T... It's my friend. {{{petting CHI iron}}} ahem...sorry...I'm still having LHCF withdrawal symptoms) So anyway, if you're on the "no heat" regimen...uhm....sorry.

Okay here it is. Every 4/5 days I...

1. Shampoo first time with Matrix Sleek.Look shampoo. Rinse.
2. Shampoo second time with Biosilk Silk Therapy shampoo. Rinse.
3. Condition (don't leave in at all) with Matrix Sleek.Look conditioner. Rinse and squeeze out excess water. NOTE: The only reason why I use this before my DC is because it adds LOTS of slip and a nice shine.
4. Deep condition with Design Essentials Stimulations. Leave in for 5 minutes without heat. Rinse.
5. Towel blot. Spray in a bit of Matrix Sleek.Look Iron Smoother. (I use this as a heat protectant.)
6. Blow dry with comb attachment on Medium
7. Add Biosilk Silk Therapy and flat iron in sections.
To keep the style, wrap it up with a silk scarf/du wrag.

VOILA...My regimen's a little more complex than I like, but I love the results. (And my mornings are QUICK. Unwrap, shake, comb a TINY bit and GO) It's still not AS straight as my stylist (that could be because I'm 2 months post relaxer :ahwell: ) but it has the same bounce that I LOVE.

Thanks! Now hopefully, I don't have to touch this regimen for another year....Or, until I get sick of the feel..........

HA! Who am I kidding?!?! This one's a keeper. :)

Very pretty!!!

Jujuboo,

I love your spiral curls...gorgeous!

:bouncy:

Your hair pics in your Dec album look nice and straight!:)

Thanks yall. :)

Yes, it was done with a CHI turbo. It's still not AS straight as my stylist, but I'm still working on that. :D She's one of those that doesn't tell you what her products are, but I found out what they were anyway. HA! But I still don't know what she uses as a leave-in/blow drying agent, and I'm convinced that stuff makes it SUPER straight and REALLY shiny.
