I was trying to stretch it out past my normal 10-13 weeks but noticed I started to get some breakage....and got NERVOUS!! So, I gave myself a texlax yesterday . I usually blow dry afterwards, but.....I attempted to airdry!!;) I was impressed when I woke up this morning. It was 90% Dry all but my ends which were a little damp.

...from this point I started to feel bold and wanted to do somethingelse out of my ordinary ....and so....i did it! I went to a dominican salon!! IT WAS GREAT!!! ....not to mention i got my products in the mail from roundbrushhair.

I think my hair grew some!!! My cousin told me that she remembers my hair being this length and this healthy when i was in grade school(WoW!) that meant something to me because she is a big critic!! LOL

Check it out and tell me what'cha think ladies.

They used Silicon Mix,10 en 1 and some kind of orange clear stuff in a bottle to seal it....I didn't recognize the shampoo she used but it was in a green bottle.

Yeah. I purchased some stuff off of roundbrushhair.com and those are included in the Dominican start up kit. So i am super exited now that "i think" i know how to use'em properly from observing.

Your hair looks great! I envy you East Coast ladies. I'm in LA, there are no local Dominican salons here.

Ditto! Great job:up:

I can't find any Dom salons here in Houston either:sad:

Your hair looks great! Reflexion's is the second Dominican salon I've heard of in Jax! I'll have to try this salon when I'm done stretching my relaxer.

I would recommend it! They make you feel like family as soon as you walk in the door. They are cheap too!

What side of town are they located on? The other Dominican salon (Chisam hair inc) is located on the westside near Blanding Blvd and I-295.

Hey girl!!! I love your hair it's so beautiful and looks very healthy!!! You've made wonderful progress. I like that Dreaming of APL picture, I did that same pose this morning in the mirror trying to see what it felt like to have bra-strap hair.

You'll be APL in no time, especially if your reducing your blow dryer usage.
