Yeah, let's put somebody in jail for selling bootlegs. A jailcell that could be used for oh, I dunno, a murderer, one of them Florida teachers that's raping young boys. Yeah...

Give her a big ass fine, some probation, some community service and move the phuck on.
 
Even if Lesley did community service and were fined, she would still try to scam people when she got home . She's that obsessed with getting over on people. She's the type of girl that will steal the hair off your cat, just to make a few bucks!!!

Out of curiosity do you know her or has she wronged you personally? Just asking because you seem to be making this your personal mission.

Anyway bootlegging would stop if people stopped buying it!!

I did the makeup on a couple of the stylists videos. These video shoots usually take 12 hrs for each video. It burns you when you see somone like Lesley steal peoples work, and then completely erase their names and logos from their creations. She's selling copies to people with her brand on them, under the perception that these are original DVD's created by her and not bootleg. I read the ebay complaints from Lesley's actual customers on ebay, before she tried to hide them. People thought they were buying originals and she priced it as such.

Now that people know beforehand, they won't be suckered into her scheme.

Lesley is not a registered and certified company, if she tricks unknowing people into trusting her and they give her their credit card info.......................................................................................................................................................you know what's next. Con artists keep on going, they rarely stop. This is just step 1 in Lesley's game.

She's trying to build her name off of the popularity of stylist Ashante' , because millions of people know his work and trust his company. Lesley has no affiliation with Ashante, or Cool C or Celebrity stylist Deedy Wales whatsoever.

This is the point i'm trying to make people aware of, so they don't get caught out there.

Yes, intelletual theft is wrong.
I'm aware that what this person is doing is wrong. I can also see how it's worse than your average pirate.
If I was the stylist (Cool C/Ashante) I'd be very, very annoyed.

goldengirl2, I can see why you'd be a bit annoyed, as you were involved in the original production. I'm a bit confused as to why the massive crusade to try and get everyone else really riled up about it though. Is your name in the credits? Do you get a cut of each (legitimate) DVD sold?

I find the poll slightly distasteful, as, like yourleoqueen said, there are people who need to be in jail more than she does.

I'm not denying she needs to be punished for what she did. Scammers suck.

I was wondering the same thing! Especially since all the originals poster post on LHCF are regarding this matter. Of course it is always wrong for someone to steal someone else's work, property or whatever. But I feel like the other ladies, jail should be used for people who are a threat to someone's life...

She has serious karma coming her way.

Ashante..? Is that you? remember me , the token booth clerk from the train station, we spoke about full head weaves and quality wefted hair...this is the site i was tellin u about!...dont worry..i didnt buy any of those dvd's..i brought urs ...;) ..anyways..how u doin?:grin:
 
Girl i wish i were Ashante, this would have been over by now if it were my stuff, but it's not. He's patient and does the whole legal and court processing thing. I would have gone to Lesley's house and got her already if i were him.


His customer base alone is about 100,000 people, so you'll see a lot of people chasing Lesley down and blasting her wherever she posts on the web. That is why she got shut down by E-bay, and it's going to happen with Paypal and all her Email accounts.

He has a lot of loyal friends and customers all over the web, and we're all looking out for him by letting people know about Lesley's dirty dealing.

Hi Ebonygurl00,
Not only do i do makeup for some of the stylists photoshoots, but i have modeled on about 5 of Ashante's videos as well. I was furious to see a stolen picture of me on Lesley's web page, and on ebay, with Ashante's original title removed; and Lesley's cheesy bootleg brand stamped across my face. She is using me and i don't even know her.
I would never in my life associate myself with someone as evil as her.


imagine some bootleg con-artist trying to claim recognition for a photograph of you after you sat 12-16 hrs. on a photoshoot?
