Unusual Natural Styles

I would like to (pretty please) see styles from women who have done creative things with their natural hair; styles that go beyond the usual twist/twist out (Note: I don't think there is anything wrong with these styles. In fact, I think they're pretty, if a little predictable). It doesn't have to be you own hair, it can be from any public album. I'm looking for styles that say "I didn't realize you could do that". I'm trying to help a friend through style rut. Thanks.

-Nappy hair mohawk ala Sunjaya, so start the pony puff in front this do one down the middle until you got the mohawk going on.
-Take colorful or gold or light brown or yellow yarn etc and twist/cornrow/braid it into hair for added effect.
-A full afro is always different because most people don't do them.
-Curly Fro (check YouTube) for tutorial
-Two side pony puffs, I did this and loved it no pictures sorry
-Go old school and adopt the four big twists
-Full head twists wrap...Curly Chronicles has a tutorial online YouTube. Love YouTube for ideas and how tos.
