unrefined is ts purest form and unprocessed so all the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals are left intact. low or non-processed (unrefined) equals more benefits for hair,skin and scalp.

Thanks so much! i never knew that stuff and have always wondered why my hair gets so damaged looking.....coconut oil is gonna be a staple in my regimine from now on!

gotta report that i did use it with my relaxing process for the first time and am still almost shocked by how well my hair relaxed this time.

i put it on the night before i relaxed my hair.
my roots had been feeling like a brillo pad, but that coconut oil really got them soft.
i had also added 3 tbsp of nut oils to my relaxer, as i'd read on here.
so it might have been a mix of having done both of those steps, but wow....the difference it made in making my hair smoother and softer than it's ever been after a relaxer!:grin:
