How long did you leave the relaxer in AFTER application? Did you smooth/comb it through?

Or did you add oil to the relaxer?

I used the normal formula and left it in for 30min. I appliedand smoothed it. Then I just let it sit for 5 minutes before I neutralized. I based my scalp with vaseline and Africa's best hair oil. It did not underprocess me. I used it as a corrective and now I think I will use it regularly.

MizJ, I was gonna say 30 minutes lol, that's not texlaxing, but I see your hair is thick (and pretty btw). Thanks very much for sharing.

Bump, one mo gin.

I'm relaxing today and I need all the suggestions possible.

I left mine on for a total of 20 minutes. Which was the max time listed on the sheet. I got paranoid and washed it out even though I could see my hair wasn't completely straight.

I used the regular for the maximum time on the sheet and it underprocessed me in some places and did not process at all in other places.

I smoothed alittle bit, but now too much.

I did not use any oil in mine.
