Uncle Funky's Daughter Product Line

Is anyone an avid user of this product line? I've seen older threads with few replies and want current updates. I'm looking to do more wash n go's this summer and am especially interested in the Curly Magic. Thanks in advance.

I like UFD. It's one of my staple lines, however, I have 4A/4B hair and my hair needs manipulation to have the curl look. I've tried the Curly Magic and it's probably the only product that helps my hair coil.

For the record, all other UFD products are wonderful too. Nicely scented, quality ingredients, but slightly overpriced with expensive shipping from the Vendor.

If I were to use a Curl Cream on my hair, I like Supercurl more. It's moisturizing with a touch of a hold.

Not worth the money IMO...so many other products out now that are more reasonably priced and work better.

The curly magic and the...leave in....I liked them both! They worked really well on my hair. I won't DIE if it's not in my stash but my hair was nicely curled and moisturized.

empressri Thanks for the input. What is the consistency of the gel? Is it slimy like KCCC? How does it compare to UFD gel in your opinion? Do you have to use the UFD leave in with the gel?

Anyone tried Glossy or Defunk? I looked up Supercurl. Who else likes it better than Curly Magic?

Hazel - I have them both. The Defunk is nice! perfect for moisture and deodorizing. The glossy is great too! It gives a very nice sheen.

All in all, it's a solid line. I really like it for my hair.

SuperCurl is a cream-based styler. (not a gel like Curly Magic)
