So I was looking at Relaxedhairhealth.com, nice blog with great info, tips and the girl seems really sweet too.

Anyway, she was talking about this tool called a ultrasonic conditioning flat iron that basically repairs the hair, seals cuticles and makes it more elastic:drool: all of this had me ready to wipe out my cash and give it a go. Has anyone else heard of these before?

I remember MoptopMaven had a vid where she wrapped foil around a flat iron, put it on low heat, applied conditioner and passed the flat iron over each section. She called it extreme conditioning or something like that.

Check out relaxedhairhealth's post and let me know what y'all think. I want one NOW!

OP,

I recall something similar over a year ago - an iron that is supposed to seal hair post keratin treatment. It was heatless and ultrasonic as well.

I don't know anyone that has tried it so I have not pursued this.

No one? I'm shocked no one has one in their stash. I think this would super useful when doing DC's. Hopefully they have them on sale around black friday.

yeah i have one. i got a cheap version directly from china. I did a challenge on it using it once a week and seeing how my hair felt. i feel that this tool is more better suited for protein treatments. I mainly use it to keep my curl pattern tight since i use heat regularly. it works really good for that. it wasn't able to stop the breakage i got from transitioning though.

it doesnt make your hair feel the same way as a DC. the end result always makes my hair feel more rigid or "stronger" while a regular dc w/heat makes my hair feel soft and silky feeling.

HTH

ETA I was the commenter she was talking about! LOL I meant to post the results on my blog but i thought no one was really interested in the challenge.(I totally let my blog go too:look:)
