UK LADIES PLEASE: Indian hair powders, oils etc...

Hi ladies,

I need to get some indian hair powders like Amla, shikakai etc you know the stuff used for Auyverdic hair care (sorry don't know how to spell it lol) but I have been trying everywhere to get it, and I cant seem to find it.

Do any of you know where in the uk I can get it from?

I got most of the powders from Green Street but, Alma oil from a hair shop - think it was Pak.

Also, Tesco has started to sell some of the oils in their store (There is a thread on here which someone started/mentioned it). Saw it last week in Tesco Extra Edmonton.

Hi ya,

Go down to Tooting, or any areas with a high India/Pakistani population! If you go into their superstores you should be able to get them there!

But I got mine in Tooting!

Yep Tooting Broadway is the joint!!
There is an Indian store called Dadu’s – supermarket. Its at the back.
You’ll find Henna, Amla, everything….
Cheap too.

You can even get some of the powders in Sainsburys in Streatham in the Ethnic food section
