Typing your hair?

I'm hoping that some of you experienced LHCF'ers can help me out with typing the hair? I have a texturizer on 1/2-1inch of my hair and I'm transitioning, so it's currently 2 1/2-3 1/2 inches all over in different places. I'm just wondering if I have enough hair to be able to type so that I can possibly be more selective in what products I put into my hair. If that's not enough, then how much more do I need to be able to get typed? TIA!

I would say probably at least 2 inches.

I think you'll need at least 2-3 inches of hair to try to determine your type.
