Thank you all for your kind words!

dang i wish i had the nerves
It will come to you when you're really ready. I never had the nerves until this weekend!

Congrats! May I ask, why did you choose to transition?
I choose to transition for several reasons. Aside from the fact that I adore the beautiful naturals on this site, my last relaxer resulting in serious breakage on my right side and thinning all over was what led me to transition. I just didn't want to take the chance of that ever happening again. Since I do my own hair, it will always be hit or miss no matter how great I think I am at applying relaxers. I also decided to transition because I just had this hovering thought about being 60-70-80-90 years old and dependent on someone to relax my hair for me. IDK but it was a weird thought that stuck with me. (Laser hair removal is next because I don't want to rely on anybody else to keep my armpits and bikini line in shape LOL! I crack myself up!:lachen:). I started BKTing but as it would wear off, I was still able to get my new growth straight enough. Here recently I've been annoyed with the humidity puffing up my hair. Granted all I really needed to do was order and use some Sabino or another type of humidity blocker but I believe going ahead and cutting it off was best for me after transitioning for so long. Another thing was the accelerated growth and increase in overall health since I stopped relaxing. My hair has thickened up quite a bit and even though I still didn't make it to full APL, I was definitely on my way. Furthermore, having one texture that I can wear straight or curly! I'm all for it!

Yay! Your hair is already getting big! :)
My mom said the same thing yesterday! LOL! Thanks!
