Hi ladies,

I have been washing my hair weekly and doing twist outs. I normally just let it air dry overnight and take the twists down the next morning. My hair lasts and gets bigger throughout the week, however, this week I will be attending my niece's graduation and I don't want my hair to be too frizzy. Therefore, I want to wear the twists for about 4 days before I release it to the twistout. My problem is that when my twists airdry, they tend to look like little fat "turds" (for lack of a better word). Anyway, I would like to know a good method to use to allow my twists to dry with a little more hang time. I need them to look work appropriate. Thanks for any and all help!

Here are 2 pics just to see my current hair length:

you can try clipping your roots and doing sister twists instead of regular twists. Also a product with more hold may work.

Start each section as a braid at the roots (go about 3 inches down) then begin the two strand twist. Also I found that rolling the ends of my twists on a straw created a lovely effect.
