I think the two products work well together. A couple ladies mentioned that they were experiencing a little dry feel to their hair with the Surge, but I haven't experienced this at all, and I believe it's due to the UBH.
I've taken a break from using the Surge because it was making my hair dry. I stopped spraying on my ends and tried just spraying it on my scalp only but I still had dryer then usual hair. I used moisturizers and oils along with it but it didn't seem to make much of a difference. I may try it again in a week or so. Right now it just didn't seem worth it to me.
I'm still using and loving the UBH Lotion Creme Moisturizer. This is my third month of use. I haven't been this loyal to any other product since joining this board.
It never fails at giving me extremely soft, silky, moisturized and (very importantly) non-greasy hair.
Actually I like surge, It does not dry my hair, but I actually use the UBH right after, I still love this product, so I would say both of them are a keeper for me
Thanks for all of your responses. I've been using the surge for a about two weeks and just couldn't get on the ban wagon. I'm not sure if it's because I'm about 9 weeks post relaxer and I'm having some breaking (more than normal). I just had my hair cornrowed just to give it a break. As for the UBH, I bought one bottle and really liked it but just couldn't decide if it was worth ordering again and paying so much.
