Twists and Braids and Buns...OH MY!

My hair is a little past my shoulders..if I want a protective style should I wear a bun, or will a twist/braid out do? I know my hair rubs against my shirt when I wear it down..so maybe that isn't the best option? But my bun LOOKS RIDICULOUS because of my thin hair. (FOR NOW

Why don't you try braids? I am currently about to get some too

You could get cornrows or plaits

I would also go with the braid outs. I love doing braid out, plus it won't rub on your shirt that much since it will shrink your hair up a little

When I do braid outs, the back of my hair still rubs on my shirt...Both times I had braids (individual braids and cornrows) I lost MAJOR amounts of hair...I need HELP!

when did you lose the hair? during the takedown, or because of the condition of your hair after the braids?

Ummmmm.... Well thin maybe you need to stick with the bun for now

I think it was a combination of both..I went to an African Braid shop to get my cornrows...and it was REALLY tight. I really don't think braids are an option for me...
