I have been trying to eliminate the use of heat in my daily routine so I have been doing twistout. I really think they are Bantu knots that I unravel in the morning. I must say that they do come out very well and I have received several comments the nicest one coming from my man. But my problem is that when I unravel them sometimes my ends break off. Then after wearing it for a couple of days I wash it out more shedding occurs. I wanted to know is there any thing I am doing wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Here is my routine

  1. I first comb out any tangles using detangle spray.
  2. Then I use some moisturizer lotion & some mango butter and begin twisting my hair into 6 Bantu knots.
  3. In the morning I unravel them and I usually use two hair combs to give me a nice up-do (I hope to have pics soon.)
