twisting woes

No twirling... I'm still having nightmares about the last time my hair looked like dreads. Maybe I did it wrong. I need to check youtube for techniques.
 
I've been trying for YEARS to get a twist out and it always come out snakey. I've tried it wet, damp, dry, little product, tons of product, gel, no gel, pretty much everything under the sun :lol:. I'm convinced that I can't fix it. Braid outs work better for me and they last longer.
 
I two strand twisted my hair today, and I plan to get up early tomorrow and do a twistout. If I don't like it I will do my normal wash n go.
 
I would suggest doing flat twists and using a little bit of setting lotion or foam

Twistout was a total failure this morning. Ended up doing my normal wash n go. I will try flat twist the next time I attempt a Twistout. Happy with my wash n go though.
