Ok here's the problem I am having and maybe you can help me. My twist out was bust, my coil out came out cute (see fotki) but in both cases I can't get the ends of my hair to "stick together." No matter how much gel or product I use on the ends, they unravel about a 1/2 inch or so and look like tiny puffs on the end. This ruins the whole look. I detangle the ends but they still do this!:wallbash: Could this just be a length thing? I see many naturals on her with twists in their siggy and their ends stay just fine.

Also, I've noticed my edges look to be balding/thinning pretty badly. I know it's post partum shedding and only time and BT will grow them back, but in the mean time it there anything I can do to improve the appearance outside of a comb over? I had been coving it with a headband but I think this may have made it worse so I'm trying to wear my hair as loose as possible.

Kbragg, do you have a picture? Also can you explain what your regimen for creating the twists/twist-outs? Maybe that'll help someone see where you're going wrong.

I had the same problem today. I spent all this time doing a coil out and then my end unraveled. Maybe I did it wrong. :(

My twist outs have been fine.

I'm bumping so I can get some clarity too.
