Twist comparison--This year and last year (lots of pics)

I did these twists on banded hair and while I was putting the pictures on my camera, I ran across some twists I did last year on dry hair. I didn't think my hair had grown just a whole lot this year, but the pics prove it did.

And just some pictures of the latest twists. It took me about 8 hours (or more?) to put them in. I'll be wearing them mostly in a bun or updo. I hope to keep them in for 4 weeks or more.

Very pretty! Are you always twisting on dry hair? What products are you using?

I usually twist on wet hair just because it's faster. I have to band before I twists on dry hair to keep the tangles away. I use a lot of products (PJ!) but this time I used Darcy's Botanicals Madagascar Vanilla Cream. I also like JC's Nourish and Shine, as well as Fleurtzy's Hair Butter when I twist on dry hair.

Urrrm... What's banded hair?

I like putting twists in my hair but they take forever to dry and by the time they do, they look frizzy. Haven't accomplished being able to keep them for more than 3 or 4 days. Thinking that I could possibly try on dry hair.

Everyone's already said it but your twists are absolutely beautiful. And its obvious it has really grown. When I have kinky twists with marley braid hair, my twists look like that, so I was absolutely loving seeing your hair. What an inspiration.
