Has anyone ever tried these? If so, can you share your experiences?

interesting...anyone? I was wondering about getting some mesh rollers for my momma.

I have, when I was relaxed. They work just like magnetic rollers to me (hold form, can wrap tightly to get a nice curl, etc.). They seemed to dry my hair just a little bit quicker (maybe 5-7min? out of 50 min total drying time), but not that much bc I had to use end papers on my ends to make the curl smooth-

My sister uses them. She likes them. She says that they are easier to sleep on then the magnetic rollers. I think it's just because they were passed down from my mom. LOL

How many do you think someone would need to do a full head? I have mesh rollers and I swear it takes me 20+ of the 2in french ones:/ but I have to do very small sections to get my natural hair to lay flat.

It depends on the length of your hair and how thick your hair is. If you want it smoother, then you will need to use smaller sections which means more rollers and the size of the rollers.

Did you use clips or roller picks with them?

Hi Candy...I've recently purchased these rollers and I have to say that I am pleasantly pleased with the results of my rollersets. I used the double prong metal clips, perfect fit.

HTH

never used them but they look like they'll get hair dryer faster than regular rollers. i wonder whether sally's carries these

Would the hair dry smooth or would it have some imprints from the mesh roller? I've only have magnetic plastic rollers.

I used to see these rollers on here back in the day. Macharie (sp?) was using and selling them, I believe.

I bought some at Sallys. I bought gray and green. If you need to know the brand and price I can take a look for you.

I had pics in my phone. Ooo very blurry picture.

The tumbleweed rollers are slightly different than these. They are much studier and don't have wire on the inside.

They can not be bought from Sally's unfortunately. I ordered mine online but also saw them in a local BBS.
