Trimming& Hair Cutting vs Growth & Length Retention

My hair can definitely stand less trims. I trim once a year (but I'm also in two strand twists for most of the year and I am not prone to split ends). For the lurkers, make sure you evaluate your own hair. From there you can figure out how often you need to trim.
 
I trim every 3 months like clock work. I ps a lot as well but my twists start tangling at the ends when it's time for a dusting. I retain great lengths. I'm considering dropping out of the no heat challange because I dust every 3 months when I flatiron. But I'm afraid to dust when it's curly and it's not worth it to not dust to me. If it ain't broke......
