I must say I was impressed /images/graemlins/smile.gif My hair turned out fluffy and nice. It's really a great shampoo. At first I thought it was going to dry my hair out but not at all. The conditioner that I used worked even better after I used this shampoo.

Glad to hear it! /images/graemlins/smile.gif I requested samples yesterday, so I'm anxiously awaiting for them to come. Kia did you request samples as well, if so, how long did it take for you to receive them?

Hey Tammy /images/graemlins/wave.gif
No, I didn't request samples. I went ahead and took the opinions of the ladies here and bought it at the Beauty Supply store. They only had 2 of the old version left. Did you request the old or new version??

Ya know, I have no clue. I hope what I do receive is good stuff. If not, oh well, they were only samples anyway right. But I'm hoping.... /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

OK..one more thing /images/graemlins/blush.gif After I shampooed, I think it prepared my hair to just soak up the conditioner. Even my highlights seemed brighter when I looked in the mirror right after washing. It doesn't strip the hair, at all.
OK enough /images/graemlins/laugh.gif.
I just can't stop raving about this shampoo. /images/graemlins/clap.gif

Well I've never used the old version, but I am hopelessly in love with the new one. Besides the SLS, it has quite an impressive ingredients list. Here is some infor from their web site:

A gentle coconut based cleanser that carries nutrients and protein deep into the hair shaft. This shampoo is recommended for chemically treated or environmentally damaged hair because of its ability to restore pliability, strength and shine. Active Jojoba and Biotin contained in Protein Plus Shampoo help to restore the acid mantle of the scalp, ultimately leaving the hair and scalp in renewed condition and on its way to continued well being.

I just started using it about 2 weeks ago and I love it. I bought all of what they had at the beauty store today, and they only had the old formula, which is a good thing for me. Cause I didn't even know that their is a new formula with SLS. I love this shampoo cause its so creamy and its not soapy like most shampoos. And it doesn't dry out my hair regardless of the "protein plus" name.

I have the original formula and mine only says:

A creamy coconut based cleanser that carries nutrients and proteins deep into the hair shaft. Lather in repair and strength to replace and balance vital protein moisture ratio in damaged, overstressed hair.
