Tried and True Must Haves - 1 year or more

Peppermint castile soap
Olive oil
Cocoa butter
Scarves
Shampoo comb, wood pin brush, and boar bristle brush

Well I've only been at this hair stuff for 15 months. The products I've held on to over a year(despite all my PJism and experimenting) are:
1) Elasta QP mango butter
2) Aphogee Deep moisture shampoo
3) EVOO
4) Roux Porosity Control
5) Roux Fermodyl 619ES

CON green (and new ultra moisturizing version) 7 years
JC Nourish and shine 3 years
Motions Moisture Plus 7 years
CHI silk infusion 5 years
Hairveda Whipped Gelly 5 years
Star Lacio Lacio 7 years
LottaBody Creme Wrap 7 years
LottaBody setting lotion 10+ years
EcoStyler gel 4 years

CrecePelo DC. Some of the products I've recently started using might get on the list next year, but that's the only thing I've consistently used for almost a year and a half.

I honestly can't think of too many because I quickly became a product junkie:lol:

Ion clarifying shampoo(the only shampoo we always had in the house, been using over 10 years)
Alter ego hot oil garlic treatment(over a year)
Chi silk infusion(old formula)(used over two years)
Protein filler(using for over a year, this has replaced aphogee 2 step)

My tried & true must haves:

- Castor oil
- Vitamin E
- Giovanni Direct Leave-in
- Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo
- Chi Keratin Mist
- Chi Silk Infusion
- Nexxus Emergencee
- Dudley DRC

1.) Elucence Moisture Balance Conditioner
This is my "Go To" product --- DC, leave-in, daily moisturizer, etc. It leaves my hair so incredibly soft.

2) Aubrey Organics GPB Conditioner
Use as my weekly protein pre-poo. Surprisingly moisturizing, light protein treatment. Keeps my hair strong with no worries about protein overload.

3) Mizani Renew Strength Reconstructing Gelee
Completely revitalizes my hair when I use it. I would consider this a hard protein so I use it sparingly.

4) Oils
- Avocado Oil
- Camellia Oil

5) My Pibbs dryer!

Most of these have changed for me since I am natural now  :
#1 is not a staple any longer (DB Pumpkin Seed Condish and Anita Grant's Rhassoul Clay cubes)
#2 is still great, but needed a "stronger" protein so this has been replaced. I use coconut milk and/or yogurt in my weekly DCs so I no longer need a light protein product.
#3 no longer use, "bad" ingredients.
#4 my go-to oils are grapeseed oil in the warm months and so far regular 'ol castor oil in the cooler months. I use other oils in my DCs, hot oil treatments and whipped shea butter mix though.
#5 still use, but I do the majority of my DCing overnight or under my Hair Therapy Wrap Cordless Thermal Turban Heat Wrap....easier.

giovanni shampoo

aubreys conditioners

darcy botanicals leave-in

claudies revitalizer moisturizers (about to be a full year of use next month)

oils: evoo, evco, sapote, castor, kukui, and meadowfoam

1) ORS Replenishing conditioner. Tried and true. I've tried others but I always come back to this product. The best DC for me.

2) Castor Oil. For sealing and scalp massage

3)Olive oil. For, like, everything.

I have been consistently using these for over 18 months.

- Curl Junkie Curl rehab

- Curl Junkie Repair Me

I hope to add more by the end of this year as I think I have some other staples/HGs that will stand the test of time.
