I'm looking into visiting a trichologist, to get my hair assessed, because I'm afraid that I might have some permanent damage on my edges/sides. No natter what I do, the hair around my edges and on the sides break off easily and grow considerably less than the rest of my hair. I'm experiencing thinning as well, which could be due to traction alopecia. I've taken steps to reduce tension on my hairline ( no tight styles, massaging my temples with oils, moisturizing them, etc.), however, I really want to get a scalp analysis, and see if there's an underlying issue causing the breakage/thinning. Does anyone have any trichologist recommendations in NYC? Thanks in advance
