Tree braids and edges

Forthose who have had tree braids in the past, did you have any problems with your edges thinning afterwards?

I personally haven't...I actually have some installed at the moment.

I've had them in the past with no problems. But my edges are pretty resilient.

I just took out an install after two months, I only had one small area on my edges that has thinned out the rest was fine. I'm trying to figure out what caused the problem......
