Everytime go somewhere on a plane within Canada or to the U.S or the Islands, does my hair want to ACT LIKE IT DON'T KNOW ME?

It wants to tangle big time! Mat together on the strands? Lay flat and demonstrqate major shrinkage. It acts like it just wants to hide. Is it jet shock? does it have a personality disorder or just get Alsheimers? grrr! When I am at home in the northern part of Canada, it does not do this!!! I just cannot seem to take it anywhere without it getting an attitude! Am I the only one this happens to? I end up overmanipulating it just to get some kind of protective style forget leaving it out. bonjour

My hair does the same thing. It behaves well at home, but oh man...I went to Arizona last year and the moment I stepped off the plane, BAM! It shriveled and dried...it was crazy! I couldn't get it to do anything.

And when I go to New Orleans, it perks right up and acts like it's there to PAR-TAY! For some reason it loves that place, maybe it's the humidity or something.

Mine too. I had started to wear low maintenance styles while I am on vacation, because being a natural in humid climates can make my hair go "poof"!!!

I have this exact problem. Everytime I leave school to go to another city or go home for a holiday, my hair acts super wacky. It's very frustrating but my hair is very sensitive to locational changes. I'm not sure if it's the difference in the weather or maybe the difference in the shower water. It's soooo frustrating! I still haven't found a solution.

My hair does the same. My hair is especially tore up in Europe but alma oil does help with my problem.

I plan to wear my hair in a long braid anytime I travel, wearing it out is not an option any longer. In addition, since my man wants to go out all the time, I am sure the long time I take fixing my hair makes him crazy. He never said anything, but I have seen his eyes when my hair blows up to resemble a lion after a hour of fixing it..he is looking at my hair like WTF!! I can imagine in his mind say "All that to look like that" but being the darling he is he knows better than to go there.
