TRANSITIONERS, IF YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT DOING THE BC

I agree with you completely. The first time I BC'ed 6 years ago, I instantly regretted it because I just wasn't ready for such a big step. I really agree with thinking things through properly before making such a huge step. When I finally BC'ed again almost three years ago, I knew it was the right thing to do, because I was prepared for it. I did my research on natural hair care thoroughly, and by the time I sat in the hair stylist's chair, I was completely at peace with my decision. I've never looked back since.

That said, Congratulations on your BC!!!!
I haven't seen your fotki, but I am sure your hair is absolutely beautiful :)!

I did feel this way maybe up to 2 months or so after my BC, but I am glad I did it now. I'd never had short hair before and seeing my hair in different stages is like seeing my hair being reborn again in a way. I am still not happy with the length, but I am in love with my hair.

MissNorway I think your hair is gorgeous and I hope you get to the length you want soon.

I love your hair! I think you bring up a good point that people need to remember. But man...when summer comes...it's SO hard NOT to cut.

I keep reaching for the scissors but I am just not ready. I know that my struggles are due to breakage at the line of demarcation...but I still can't cut it yet.
