I've always loved Aldrea's hair. I hope my hair will be able to look as "controlled" as hers one day...

I had never seen the 1st site before. Thanks!

Got2Be is definitely an inspiration to me! She helped me to decide not to go back to relaxing (after breaking) and give natural a try. I saw that natural hair CAN be beautiful and manipulated! I love her journal and visit it frequently when I'm feeling down or like I can't do this!

Now that was great. I loved Aldreas site and links. This was really inspirational. Honestly it was like a breath of fresh air looking at these pics.
This is a reallly good thread.

Your welcome everybody! i hope this helps you peachtree (by the way i love your hair

(if any of the albums i just posted belong to members of this site also i hope you dont mind me posting)

Those are some really impressive albums.

I was au naturale until about 10 years ago. I had really long, wild, untamable hair. It was always difficult to comb my hair and washings were a nightmare.

I have a relaxer now, which makes grooming easier, but after seeing those albums I may have to learn to deal with my thick "wig" as God gave it to me.

Babyblue thanks for such wonderful sites! Those pictures were very cool and an inspiration. I am wondering why I did relax my hair in the past? Well those pictures make me more determined to grow my hair long and healthy.

Thanks for sharing.
Isn't it a good feeling to know you are starting afresh, this time armed with all the knowledge you need to maintain and grow your hair in perfect condition.

And BTW, your portfolio is pretty impressive too. You couldn't have used a cuter model/client.

those are some great albums! I'm not transitioning anymore but I tell ya these albums are enough to make me recommit to my growth quest! Where did I put that MSM...

Thanks a million Babyblue and Destinee,

I remain inspired.

Destinee - You are my hair twin - I know that is bizarre but it is true, I feel like I am looking in the mirror. I love the pic you have on your avatar but I haven't mastered picking yet.

Thanks again ladies!

Nina

These were some of my favorites when I was contiplating the natural route. I had not been able to find them (Got2beme or Aldrea). Thanks for locating them for me again!!

That is so weird, I was just looking at those sites earlier today. They're awesome!
